The Merch Table - Kayfabe Clothing, Mark Haskins, SPLX, Pro Wrestling Tees & One Fall Media

So, The Merch Table has been away for awhile and well it has returned as a three part special for this week, no really. Divided into three parts, Part one focuses on the wrestlers merchandise, Part Two aimed at the Promotions and concluding on Friday with a combination of anything I may of missed and even requests from yourselves of merchandise from your favourite wrestlers that I’ll hunt for.

With that said and done, let’s move on time is not our friend and we start off with the superb Clothing line of...

I featured this line from other wrestlers before namely The Filthy Generation (Stevie Boy and Kay Lee Ray) and Carmel Jacob in a previous Merch Table but let’s focus a bit more in what the clothing line aims for & who else they feature…

Wrestle Ropes Ready for the Weekend: September 2016 Week 2 - Reckless Intent, NGW & ICW

This week's edition will see us not only travel to three different promotions but two countries as we head firstly to Livingston in Scotland on Saturday. Then it's to England's Hull before ending the weekend back north of the border in Glasgow, Scotland. Let's get Ready For The Weekend!

Saturday night sees the wrestling weekend start with Reckless Intent Wrestling holding their The Way It Is event at the Murieston Scout Hall in Livingston.

While Reckless Intent continues to grow as a promotion, this Saturday will mark the end of either Chris Renfrew or Sean Mercer's time with the company when they face in a Loser Leaves Reckless Intent match. These two men were originally scheduled to compete in standard match until Renfrew caught Mercer bullying members of the roster at a recent event. Following the incident, Renfrew challenged Mercer to the match. These men don't like each other and after Saturday, they'll not be sharing a locker room in Reckless Intent anymore.

Back in May, Massimo suffered an injury which lead to him being unable to defend the UK Championship. Now prior to this injury, DCT was due a championship match with Massimo. Obviously this wasn't able to take place. However, last month, Massimo returned from that injury and defeated the interim champion, Grado to reclaim the championship he never lost. Now he has to defend the UK Championship against the man who never got his chance, DCT. This is a match that has been waiting to happen for over 4 months. Massimo wants to keep the championship he has only just reclaimed and DCT wants to continue the roll he has been on while waiting for his opportunity.

Saturday shall see the debut of “The Real Deal” Mark Coffey in Reckless Intent and he's aiming for the top of his first night as he'll be challenging Michael Chase for the Heavyweight Championship. Chase is the only four-time Heavyweight Champion with his latest reign beginning with a win over “The Beast Of Belfast” Big Damo. Coffey needs little to no introduction as one half of Polo Promotions and a multiple tag team and singles champion. Chase has faced all comers during his championship reigns and Coffey is as big as they will come and will be looking to add another championship to his impressive history.

Moving on to Saturday and New Generation Wrestling are at the Hull City Hall with Regeneration-X.

The show will feature the first ladder match for the GenX Championship with the current champion Matt Myers, Bubblegum, Wild Boar and the winner of Martin Kirby vs Robbie X. Not only will the winner of this match walk away with the GenX Championship but an opportunity at the Undisputed Championship, as well. Myers finally won the championship from Bubblegum in July at 8th Anniversary Show and will look to keep the title as well as getting a step closer to the Undisputed Championship but the odds in this match are not in his favour. He'll need all the determination he used to win the championship to keep it this Saturday.

“The Mexican Sensation” El Ligero has been in a long standing war with Dara Diablo in NGW which finally ended in a Last Man Standing match at 8th Anniversary Show. Ligero must have felt that the skies were clearing until Joseph Conners appeared. After attacking Ligero, “The Mexican Sensation” is after some retribution and a match  between the two has been signed for this Saturday. This is mostly likely the exact plan that Conners has in mind as he has a way of manipulating things to his own way. Ligero will be out for revenge but he must be aware of Conners' demanding offence, both physically and mentally.

The main event this Saturday will see “The Showstealer” Nathan Cruz defend the Undisputed Championship against the Destiny Rumble winner, Doug Williams. While Cruz is one of the biggest stars not only in NGW but British Wrestling as a whole, Williams is a legend of British Wrestling. Having won championships on almost every continent, Williams still has his eyes on more championship gold. Notably, the gold around the waist of Cruz. While “The Showstealer” played a part in eliminating The Control from NGW and has fought every challenger put his way, he shall know that Williams' experience and skill is matched by very few. A main event where a pioneer of British Wrestling faces one of it's brightest stars with championship gold on the line.

Match Card

“The Showstealer” Nathan Cruz (c) vs Doug Williams

Four-Way Ladder Match for GenX Championship

Finally on Sunday we head back to Scotland for Insane Championship Wrestling's Fight Club TV taping in Glasgow.

The event shall be the last for Noam Dar who will soon be joining WWE's RAW show as part of their Cruiserweight division. While Dar will be moving on to new things, his last match will be something of a step back into history as he faces Andy Wild. These two men have competed against each other for years. They started their journey in wrestling at the same time. Now for the time being they give us one last hurrah. Have no doubt that these two men are going to give the best performance they can together. There are no issues and no rivalries here, this is purely competition and a celebration of Noam Dar's time in ICW.

While Noam Dar will be heading to WWE, Joe Coffey shall be facing a 4 time WWE World Champion on November 20th when he competes against Kurt Angle. Before he gets there though, he's got a match this Sunday against the current EVOLVE Champion, Timothy Thatcher. Coffey is known as a mighty wrestler and rightly so and his opponent, Thatcher, is known as being as pure a wrestler as you can get. Both men are genuine heavyweights and their styles should marry together very well. While Coffey will be focused on Angle on November 20th, he'll know that Thatcher is as much of a challenge and likewise Thatcher will know the reputation that Coffey holds.

Back at BarraMania II in April, Polo Promotions (Jackie Polo & Mark Coffey) won the Tag Team Championship, but then left the promotion. Not long after ICW began a tag team tournament to crown new champions with The Local Fire (Davey Boy & Joe Hendry) eventually winning at Shug's Hoose Party III in July. However, immediately following their win, Polo Promotions appeared with the original Tag Team Championship belts. This left a predicament as while Local Fire had won the tournament, Polo Promotions had never lost the championship. Therefore, this Sunday, Polo and Coffey of Polo Promotions will face Boy and Hendry of Local Fire in a ladder match with the winning team being named the Unified Tag Team Champions. Not only will the winning team be crowned the unified champions but they will also go on to Fear & Loathing IX on November 20th to face 6 time [WWE] World Tag Team Champions Team 3D's Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley. It's all on the line this Sunday and only one team is walking away with it all.

Wrestle Ropes' Ready for the Weekend: November 2015 Week 4

We're fast approaching yet another weekend in the British Wrestling calendar and once again we are taking a look at just a small selection of the shows taking place. Let's get Ready For The Weekend!

Up first on Friday night, Scottish Wrestling Alliance are at The Lagoon Centre in Paisley, Glasgow. The event shall mark the Scottish debut of 'The Aerial Assassin' Will Ospreay. And what a début he is in for as he faces 'Scotland's Best Young Wrestler' Lewis Girvan. Will Ospreay has been tearing it up all over England as well as participating in this year's Pro Wrestling Guerilla's BOLA tournament. Lewis Girvan has not been having a quiet year himself as he has competed against some of the finest athletes in Scotland today including Drew Galloway. Ospreay will no doubt impress many new fans on Friday night as he makes his Scottish debut but he's facing the very best that Scotland has to offer in young talent. This match could be the match of the weekend. When speaking about the best that Scotland has to offer, a name that is often in any person's list is Mark Coffey. While often seen as part of Polo Promotions, Mark Coffey is not called 'The Real Deal' for nothing and is accomplished in singles action as he is in a team. On November 27th he will get a chance to prove that as he challenges Drew Galloway for the SWA Heavyweight Championship. Galloway won the championship in this very venue in Paisley. We could see another champion crowned on Friday as Mark Coffey will bring his A-game and give Galloway everything he has. The main event shall see Grado facing Mikey Whiplash. A must-see match for any wrestling fan. However, this match will have an added dimension as it has been announced that Gavin 'Boaby The Barman' Mitchell from hit BBC comedy show, Still Game shall be the special enforcer for this match. Grado will have the fans well behind him in Paisley but he faces one of the best technically sound wrestlers in Whiplash. Mikey Whiplash is as smart as he is dangerous and Grado will need to stay one step ahead of him to have a chance at picking up the win.

Full Card

*SWA Heavyweight Championship*
Drew Galloway (c) vs ‘The Real Deal’ Mark Coffey

*SWA Scottish Junior Heavyweight Championship*
Kenny Williams vs ‘Flyin’ Ryan Griffin (c)

*England Vs Scotland: Special Guest Enforcer – Gavin ‘Boaby The Barman’ Mitchell*
Mikey Whiplash vs Grado

‘Iron Man’ Joe Coffey vs ‘Hardcore Icon’ Jack Jester

Lewis Girvan vs ‘The Aerial Assassin’ Will Ospreay

Courtney vs Viper

‘Global Hero’ Joe Hendry vs DCT

Jack Gallagher vs Jackie Polo

Moving on to Saturday and Shropshire Wrestling Alliance are back at the Dawley Town Hall in Telford with 'GoldRush 2015'. The evening will feature two championship matches, one involving a ladder and a rumble to crown a new number contender. As we said their will be a championship match involving a ladder. The championship in question is the SWA British Lions Championship. Tyler Bate has been a fighting champion since winning the championship. This match will be his greatest challenges as he face not one but five other opponents in the shape of Mark Andrews, Nixon Newell, Drew Parker, Chris Brookes & Mike Bird. Any one of these challengers would be a worthy and challenging opponent. Add in the fact that ladders will play a vital part in the outcome of the match and really anyone could be working out of Telford as the SWA British Lions Champion this Saturday. The other championship on the line on November 28th will be the SWA Heavyweight Championship. Dan Moloney made his intentions clear at 'British Lions 2015' when he attacked reigning champion, Ryan Smile after the main event. With Moloney in possession of a guaranteed championship match, SWA had no choice but to grant the 'Super Beast' his demand. While Moloney will look to deliver another beating to The All Day Star and take the SWA Heavyweight Championship, Smile shall be out to gain retribution on the blind-sided attack that he received the last time that these two men were in the same ring. Saturday night will witness former tag team partners come face to face in a match. Chris Ridgeway and Damian Dunne are both on a quest to pick up a big win in SWA. These former partners did not part on good terms so there may be a little more spice in their offence against each other. There is a lot for both men to prove. Who is the better man and who will finally get the win they desperately want.

Full Card

*SWA Heavyweight Championship*
‘Super Beast’ Dan Moloney vs ‘All Day Star’ Ryan Smile (c)

*SWA British Lions Championship: Six-Way Ladder Match*
‘Calamari Catch’ Chris Brookes vs ‘Boy Next Door’ Drew Parker vs ‘White Lightning’ Mark Andrews vs ‘Ginger Jesus’ Mike Bird vs Nixon Newell vs Tyler Bate (c)

*15-Man Over The Top Rope Goldrush Rumble*
Winner Become Number One Contender To The SWA Heavyweight Championship

‘The Kid’ Ethan Silver vs ‘The Juice’ CJ Banks

‘The Priority’ Chris Ridgeway vs ‘Number One’ Damian Dunne

Finishing the weekend, Kamikaze Pro are at the The Cadbury Club in Birmingham with a stacked show where every championship will be up for grabs. One title on the line will be the Kamikaze Pro Championship as Robbie X will defend against Juventud Guerrera. Robbie X has been a fighting champion for over a year now. His opponent, Juventud Guerrera has held championship in almost every company he's wrestled in. Robbie has defeated some of the best in Kamikaze Pro as well as those from further afield during his reign. He faces as big a challenge as any now though in the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, who will look to add to his impressive list of accolades. November 29th will see one man who loves to cheat face a man who loves violence. This Sunday will see Marshall X faces Clint Margera in a no disqualification match. Marshall X is renowned for cheating during matches in any way he can. That won't be an issue for his when he face Clint Margera as he can do anything he wants. While that would normally be of benefit to Marshall X, his opponent Clint Margera is a man who will do anything. He is a lover of violence and the use of weapons. Marshall X may find that he's against a man who likes do anything it takes to win more than even he does. The main event for 'Frost Fight 3' will see 'The Man Beast' face 'The Super Beast' as Rhyno competes against Dan Moloney. Dan Moloney is the current Money In The Bank holder and has continued to get better as Kamikaze Pro has grown. He's now one of the promotion's top athletes. His opponent needs little introduction as a former ECW Champion and a current member of NXT. Rhyno is still as impressive as he ever was and will bring Dan Moloney a challenge that he has rarely faced before. However, Moloney will look to show Rhyno that there is room for only one beast in Kamikaze Pro and he's not planning on giving up that place any time soon.

Full Card

‘The Man Beast’ Rhyno vs ‘The Super Beast’ Dan Moloney

*Kamikaze Pro Championship*
Robbie X (c) vs Juventud Guerrera

*Relentless Division Championship*
‘Dynamite’ Pete Dunne (c) vs ‘Lights Out’ Tyler Bate

*Kamikaze Pro Tag Team Championship*
The Hunter Brothers (Lee & Jim Hunter) (c) vs The Bigger Picture (‘Number One’ Damian Dunne & ‘All Day Star’ Ryan Smile)

*No Disqualification*
‘The Badman’ Marshall X vs Clint Margera

‘The Wonderkid’ Jonny Storm vs ‘The Phoenix’ Jody Fleisch

Nixon Newell & Toni Storm vs Shanna & Chardonnay

Wrestle Ropes' Ready for the Weekend: September 2014 Week 2

Firstly we must apologise to Across The Pond Wrestling and readers of these articles for the lateness of this week's edition. Solely due to real life getting in the way. However, let's move on to wrestling life and get Ready For The Weekend!

Kicking off the weekend on Friday night, Target Wrestling are back at The Venue in Carlisle, Cumbria. The event will feature international star, 'The Hurricane' Shane Helms teaming with, the always impressive, Mark Coffey to face the duo of T-Bone & Bubblegum. Helms has won numerous championships during his career and Mark Coffey in a bona-fide world class athlete in his own right, whilst their opponents are no strangers to each other and have been partners on numerous occasions. This should be a great action filled match for all to see. The Target Wrestling Heavyweight Championship is also on the line on September 11th when Joe Coffey defends against a surprise opponent. Originally scheduled to face Kris Travis who unfortunately had to withdraw due to a stomach injury, Coffey now faces the unknown but the 'Iron Man' has never been scared of a fight and shall welcome the challenge. For months, Alexander Henry has caused chaos in Target Wrestling with his cohorts. Now aligned with Jason Prime and Rampage Brown, they are set to face a group who live to cause chaos, The New Age Kliq's Stevie Xavier, BT Gunn & Wolfgang. These groups have a real dislike for each other and Carlisle may not be able to withstand the inevitable war that is coming this Friday.

Moving on to Saturday and Tidal Championship Wrestling host their final event at The Dolphin Centre in Darlington, County Durham, Last Dance. One match of interest at the event is Martin Kirby vs. HT Drake. Now Kirby is considered one of the best wrestlers in the UK and rightfully so, HT Drake on the other hand is a great up and coming talent from the North East of England. This will be great test for the young HT Drake against such an experienced opponent. At Spring Storm Dan James and Dan Evans were tag team partners. Move on a few months and these two are now no longer partners or even friends. They have their differences and the only way to resolve them is to fight it out on September 12th. In the main event, Liam Lazarus puts the TCW Championship on the line against the first ever champion, 'The Mexican Sensation' El Ligero. These men have faced each other in TCW twice before with both holding a victory over the other. Now it's time for the rubber match with the gold up for grabs.

On Sunday, PROGRESS Wrestling are back with another edition of their ENDVR franchise which is now holding it's 12th show, at the Garage in Islington, London. A place in the Natural Progression Series will be up for grabs when the very unique Jack Sexsmith faces Australia's Josh Shooter. Shooter is a world-travelled athlete and Sexsmith has become a a real fan favourite in the ENDVR ranks. This is a big test for Sexsmith but one he'll want to overcome to gain entry to the Electric Ballroom in the near future. At PTNTL:2, Jinny demanded that she be given a tougher challenge in her next match. PROGRESS being a company that listens went and found Jinny a bigger challenge in the shape of Toni Storm. Jinny and Storm have crossed paths before when Jinny interfered in a match between Toni and Elizabeth, Jinny's PA. Now the woman the fans have christened the "Primark Princess" gets the chance to face a tougher challenge and Toni Storm gets a chance to gain some revenge. In possibly the strangest combination of characters in wrestling, Pastor William Eaver & Chuck Mambo are back in tag team action against one of the most decorated tag teams in British Wrestling today, The London Riots. Sweet Jesus have scored some big wins during their tag team career. The London Riots would be a huge team to defeat but it won't come easy.

That wraps up this week's preview of the weekend's wrestling schedule. Of course, there are many more events taking place over the three days.
